Atropo Belladonna actually comes from the scientific name for the plant more commonly known as the deadly nightshade (atropa belladonna). Even further, the genus name "atropa" comes from Atropos, one of the three Fates in Greek mythology. The phrase "atropa bella donna" itself is derived from an admonition in Italian and Greek meaning "do not betray a beautiful lady".

Human Form[]
Atropo retains his dark skin color, but his hair is a shade or two darker than in Mew form and he loses his ahoge (the giant cowlick)...not to mention he gets his ears back. His eyes are an oaken brown rather than red. Not much changes between his two forms, honestly. In human form he tends towards dark-colored clothing and always wears his hair in a ponytail -- he detests it when people try to take it out of its tie.
